■ What is Return to University?

Return to University is required when the leave of absence period ends, and you wish to return to school and continue your studies.

Once the Return to University application is completed, your status will change from a leave of absence to an enrolled student.

※ International students must apply for Returning to University in advance to obtain a Certificate of Admission, which is required for visa issuance before entering Korea.

■ Application Period

・Three months before the start of the semester you wish to return (three months before the beginning of semester)

※ Since a visa is required for entering Korea, returning to university applications must be submitted in advance.

■ How to Apply

・Prepare the required documents and submit them to your department office.

■ Required Documents

・Application form

・Bank balance certificate: Balance of at least KRW 16,000,000 (must be issued within one month of the visa application date)

・Copy of passport

・Photo

■ Process : The process from application submission to issuance of the Certificate of Admission takes 2–3 weeks.

■ Important Notes

・Even if you were previously registered as a foreigner, you must reapply for Alien registration and obtain a new Alien registration card upon returning to Korea after re-enrollment.
